Writer block hits this hubpage writer's challenge

The horrible writer's block has hit this writer. I just finished an article for my other writing job and 'bam', it hit. What am I going to write for hubpages? The stress hit. The back of my neck became stiff and painful. The pain gave me a headache and traveled right down to my lower back. How was I going to complete my challenge of 30 hubs in 30 days. I had accepted the challenge late in the game to begin with... ! Stress!

I decided to open my beloved Writer's Digest magazine and my The Writer magazine, trying franticly to find a glimmer of an idea. I started reading other hubbers hubs trying hard to push that idea out. I would not accept failure today. I need to post at least two hubs today. I wanted them to be good or at least as good as I am usually writing. I decided to smoke a cigarette and drink some coffee. Nope, just chatted with the neighbor as she walked her dog.

Okay, now I was starting to procrastinate. Bad, writer! Bad, writer! I turned on the TV and what do I find - nothing, just some reruns of Ripley's Believe It or Not! I watched with horror to see a woman with not just extra long finger nails, but toes too! Ahhhh! I could not watch.

Procrastinating again! I decided to go and surf the web. Wasted time, I yelled at myself. Now I look at the clock, oh, my. It is 1:30 in the afternoon and I need to pick up my two boys at school in an hour. What do I do?

Stress just coming over me, then I just decided that I should not be stressing out. It is just a part of a writer's life. Sometimes we writer's become so stress to produce the perfect writing that we forget how much we love it. It becomes a job, jobs are not fun.

So, I am going to calm down, go have a cigarette, take a break and I bet by the time I get back from picking up the kids I will have found something to write about. I am sure. So all you writers (hubbers) out there on the internet, calm down. This 100 hubs in 30 days or the 30 hubs in 30 days can and will be accomplished - why? We are writers, this is what we do. Good luck to all!

Lol I'm not even taking the challenge, and I'm clueless. lol Sigh. Following my kids around usually helps. My son needs 20 bugs by Friday...eww but hey, there could be something there. Keep on keepin' on! :-)

LOL! I really need to get back into writing. I took a 3+ year sabbatical and missed writing. I thought this would be a good way to jump back in. I also miss freelance writing. I did that full time for 5 years.
